Pakistan Science Foundation is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Science and Technology that invites applications for the selection of the 6th batch of 500 young students under the Development Project Science Talent Farming Scheme (STFS). Talented students with a passion for science education who want to pursue scientific careers will be selected and trained/groomed to become eminent scientists of the future.
Science Talent Farming Scholarship 2023
Pakistan Science Foundation is not only offering PKR: 15,000/- per month to selected students. The last date to apply for Science Talent Farming Scheme is 23rd December 2023. Talented students with a passion for science education who want to pursue a scientific career will be selected and trained/groomed to become eminent scientists of the future.
Eligibility Criteria for Pakistan Science Foundation STFS Scholarship
- Students who have passed SSC/Matriculation in 2023 are eligible to apply only from pure public sector schools.
- (4) Students securing at least 60% aggregate marks and 70% marks in Science subjects. Biology/Computer Sciences, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics.
- Attested copies of the Matric/SSC Result Card, B Form, and Domicile Certificate of Domicile of Student or Father must be attached.
- Proof of pure government schooling should be provided.
- Private, Semi-Government or any other type of school is not eligible as per PC-I of STFS.
Science Talent Farming Scheme STFS Selection Criteria
Initial screening/shortlisting will be done on the basis of scores as per eligibility criteria.
- Science Aptitude Test (Written Test)
- Paper-based I.Q test.
- Interview/presentation on innovative ideas.
- Seats will be allocated according to the quota system of the federal government.
- 30 seats are reserved for examination toppers of BISEs, for which nominations will be invited separately from their respective boards.

Highlights of the Science Talent Farming Scheme
- 15,000 per month for two years of monthly scholarship @Rs FSc.
- Study visits science and technology organizations, universities, and labs.
- Undertaking research projects under the mentorship of selected professors of the University during FSc.
Documents and other requirements for PSF Science Talent Farming Scheme
- An attested copy of the SSC or Matric result card should be attached.
- Attested copy of CNIC/B-Form.
- Attested copy of domicile (own domicile is mandatory; however, father’s domicile is acceptable only for test permit).
- Two recent color photographs (passport size).
- Original paid copy of deposit slip. vi Application forms with incomplete, incorrect/false information will be rejected.
How to Apply for Science Talent Farming Scholarship STFS

- A copy of the filled online application form along with detailed marks sheet of SSC/Matriculation, own domicile/father’s domicile, and attested copies of CNIC/B-form to NTS Headquarters (Pakistan Science Foundation Project), Plot no. Send to 96, Street. #04, Sector H-8/1, Islamabad.
- The last date for submission of the application is 23rd December 2022.
