The NDMA is an executive part of the National Disaster Management Commission (NDMC) which was created under the chairmanship of the Premier Minister to be the highest policy-making agency in the area of Disaster Management. In the event of a disaster, all stakeholders including Government Ministries/Departments/Organizations, Armed Forces, INGOs, NGOs, and UN Agencies work through and form part of the NDMA to conduct one window operations.
