Mext Scholarship 2023

Japan’s Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science, and Technology (MEXT) has announced undergraduate scholarships for international/Pakistani students who wish to study in Japanese universities under the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship Program. MEXT Scholarship is available for almost all disciplines including MBBS, BDS, Pharmacy, Engineering, Sciences, Arts, Computer Science, and Business Administration.

MEXT Scholarship 2023 Pakistan

 MEXT offers 9,500 scholarships annually to international students, including Pakistani students. The MEXT Scholarship is the largest scholarship program of the Japanese government. The Japanese government will cover all expenses during the scholarship period. Students can apply to any program at any Japanese university. MEXT Japan Undergraduate Scholarships are open to all disciplines and universities. Knowledge of the Japanese language and IELTS/TOEFL is not mandatory for MEXT Japan Scholarship.

Mext Scholarship 2023 Deadline Pakistan

All Japanese universities are part of this scholarship. Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports and Technology scholarships and all fields of study are available at Japanese universities. The application deadline for MEXT Research Scholarships 2023 in Pakistan is 21 May 2023.

MEXT Scholarship Coverage

The MEXT Scholarship 2023 is a fully funded scholarship for international students to study in Japan for free. This scholarship will provide the following benefits to the recipient:

1. Allowances: Monthly Stipend Allowance, Preparatory Allowance (2023 Rate)
2. Academic Fees: Entrance exam fees and tuition fees in universities will be paid by MEXT.
3. Travel Expenses: Transportation to Japan: MEXT will cover the travel expenses of your round-trip fare from your country to Japan. An airline ticket will be an economy class ticket for the flight.
4. Accommodation: Halls of residence provided by universities for international students.

2. To qualify for the MEXT Scholarship, a candidate must meet all of the following requirements below:

4. Eligible Countries: All countries of the world
5. Applicants must have the nationality of a country that has diplomatic relations with Japan.

1. Applicants holding Japanese citizenship at the time of application are not eligible.
2. For undergraduate students: You must be at least 17 and under 25 years of age and have completed 12 years of schooling or completed courses at a school equivalent to a high school (possibly (including graduates)
3. For Masters / Ph.D. students: You must be under 35 years of age and a college graduate (including potential graduates). Or you have completed 16/18 years of education.
4. For Teacher Training Students: You must be under 35 years of age and a graduate of a college or teacher training college. You must have at least five years of active experience as a teacher in a primary, secondary, or teacher-training college in your home country.
5. For Japanese Studies Students: Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old. Applicants must be enrolled as undergraduate students in faculties or schools majoring in Japanese language or Japanese culture at a university outside Japan when they come to Japan and when they return to their home countries. Must be enrolled in the home institution.

How to Apply for MEXT Scholarship 2023?

• To apply for the MEXT Scholarships please follow the application instructions below:
• Find your country’s Japanese embassy or consulate here.
• Visit the website of your country’s Japanese embassy. Under the Education / Scholarship tab, you will find the MEXT Scholarship.
• Download and fill out the MEXT Scholarships Application Form.
• Submit the required documents (listed below) to the Japanese embassy in your country.

• After that candidates will be interviewed.
• Successful candidates will be notified via email or the embassy’s website.
