The higher Education Commission HEC has launched the Overseas Scholarship Scheme 2023. HR Development Initiative, MS Engineering is a Ph.D. program for faculty development at institutions of technology and science. Scholarships will be given to students during the 2023 Spring/Autumn session at top-ranked HEC-identified international universities in the top-ranked countries (University List). Application Procedure: Applicants need to submit an online application through the HEC portal (eportal.hec.gov.pk).

The principal objective of this program is to offer scholarships as well as financial aid to students from families with low incomes. It is the aim of Prime Secretary Pakistan Imran Khan to provide the possibility of helping students with no-cost educational assistance who want to pursue their studies however, they do not have the money to pay for it.

Scholarship for Undergraduate Students in Pakistan

The scholarship will cover travel expenses for living and the return flight however it does not cover tuition costs. The applicant must be accepted with a full tuition fee waiver from one of the universities listed above, or from one of the 235 US universities or an institution that is part of the 23-university system as described in the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor section on the HEC website.

HEC FOREIGN SCHOLARSHIPS Eligibility Criteria

1. Here are the prerequisites to be a part of the program.
2. The award is available to students enrolled in any undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral degree program at a public institution.
3. Only students who are on school days will be qualified to receive this grant.
4. To be qualified for this scholarship, the annual income of the family member applying for the scholarship is not more than the number of Rs. 45,000.
5. Students attending HEC-affiliated schools after 2023 will be eligible to apply for the scholarship.
6. The number of scholarships offered can fluctuate depending on the demand.
7. HEC will monitor the financial condition of the students, and the administrators can stop the scholarship program at any time without knowing the student
8. The 6000 rupees, in addition to the cost of tuition, will be granted as a stipend for a scholarship.

Coverage of HEC Foreign Scholarships 2023

HEC has reached an agreement for the waiver of tuition fees to Pakistani students in different top-ranked American universities. HEC will refer potential students to partners US universities to assess the possibility of admission or tuition waivers that meet the essential eligibility requirements to be awarded HEC Scholarships. HEC Scholarship. Candidates who are selected will be offered an HEC scholarship in the USA-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project by the host US university, after having met the admission requirements for that particular university.
