Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Islamabad is the main educational board of Pakistan which is responsible for conducting annual and supply examinations of matriculation and intermediate classes all over Pakistan in the federal capital Islamabad, tribal areas, and cantonment areas. Besides this, abroad Pakistanis can also participate in Matric and HSSC examinations through BISE Federal Board.

Class IX and Class X annual examinations are held in March and April, while class XI and XII are held in May and June every year, while written and practical papers are separate. All the schools and colleges in Islamabad and other above-mentioned areas are affiliated with the Federal Board while thousands of regular and private students appear every year in the annual and supply examinations of matriculation and intermediate classes under the Federal Board.

FBISE releases the 9th and 10th annual exam results in the month of June or July while the 11th and 12th annual exam results are announced by the board in August or September every year. Matriculation and inter-class students of the Federal Board can check their complete results on the official site of the board immediately after the declaration of results and they will also receive the result card at their address a few days after the declaration of results.

Immediately after the annual examinations, the Federal Board conducts supply examinations for failed students. FBISE declares the result of supply exams only one or two months after the exams whereas student can check their detailed results on the official site of the Federal Board immediately after the declaration of supply exam results.

Officials of federal boards generate a code and students can get the result by sending their roll number to this code. The Federal Education Board has announced the results of Merak Annual Examinations for the year 2021-22. According to the data released by the Controller of Examinations, out of 111,445 students, 95,819 candidates have passed with an average of 86.58 while 14,793 candidates have been declared failed. Fatima Bint Asad of School EME College and Mah Noor Ali of Joint Staff Public School was second with 1095 marks while Abia Rafiq of Army Public School stood at the third position with 1094 marks.

BISE Federal Board Position Holders 2022-23

This year the FBISE 12th class results have bagged the top positions from the Federal Board. . A prize distribution ceremony was also held in their honor where prizes and medals were awarded to the position holders, which was attended by the chief guests, and their parents.  and faculty members.
