Under the guidance of chairman Imran Khan, the Punjab Government, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has officially started its Punjab Ehsaas Program 2023 under the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) and to implement it, Chaudhry Parvez of the Muslim League (N). The purpose of this program is to shield elderly citizens who are 65 years old or more from the dangers of their livelihood and to allow them to live active and comfortable life. The program is currently providing an amount of money equivalent to the sum of Rs. 2000 per month for women in these families who are elderly that are not qualified to participate in the Ehsaas Programme (BISP).

In the event of the death of a woman who is eligible as per the given criteria, male relatives of age 65 or older, are qualified. A total of Rs.2,400 Million has been set to support this program during the period 2021-2022. As of now, 82,000 seniors have benefited from this program. The program is designed to help the most vulnerable citizens in Punjab and will provide the opportunity to help them meet their financial requirements.
